1. About these terms

These terms apply to embodiedmotherhoodspace.com and to our offers on it: the Embodied Motherhood Community, the Embodied Motherhood 1:1 Programme (private coaching), discovery calls, and our newsletter. 2. What our services are, and are not

Embodied Motherhood coaching and community support are coaching and mind-body services. They combine nervous system education, embodiment practices, yoga therapy tools, and emotional and practical support for motherhood.

• They are not therapy, psychological treatment, or medical care, and they do not diagnose or treat any condition.

• They do not replace advice from your doctor, midwife, psychologist, or other healthcare provider. If you are experiencing symptoms of postnatal depression or anxiety, thoughts of harming yourself or your baby, or another health concern, please contact a healthcare professional. In an emergency call 112.

• Results vary. We cannot guarantee particular outcomes. Testimonials reflect individual experiences.

3. The 1:1 Programme

• The programme is a private 3-month coaching experience including 18 sessions, to be held online or in person (when available), and regular check-ins available by text message and email. 

• Entry is by application and discovery call. We may decline an application if we do not think the programme is the right fit, and we may suggest other support.

• Price and payment: €1,900, VAT included  Your place is confirmed once the first payment is received.

• Cancellation:a full refund, minus €150 administrative fee before the first session; no refund once the programme has started, except where required by law. Sessions that you cancel or move with less than 48 hours notice may be forfeited.

• Confidentiality: what you share in sessions is kept confidential, except where required by law or where there is serious risk of harm to you or others. Coaching notes are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. The Community

• Membership is monthly at €9.99, renewing automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not refund part-periods unless required by law.

• Community rules: be respectful and kind; keep what other members share private and do not screenshot or repost it; do not give medical advice or promote your own services without permission; no harassment, discrimination, or spam. We may remove content or members who break these rules, without refund.

• Live sessions and materials are for members' personal use and may not be recorded, shared, or resold.

• Opinions shared by members are their own, and we are not responsible for member-generated content.

5. Newsletter and free resources

You can sign up for our newsletter or free resources with your consent, and unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email. Free resources are for personal use only and are provided for general information.

6. Retreats and in-person events

Retreats (additional terms)

What is included. The retreat price covers accommodation, meals, yoga and workshop sessions,and other services (such as massage) as noted in the description. It does not cover flights, transfers, travel insurance, drinks, optional excursions, personal expenses. Full details are on the retreat page and in your booking confirmation.

Booking and payment.

• A place is confirmed when we receive a deposit of 50% and your signed booking form.

• The balance is due 60 days before the retreat.

• Room choices are made on a first booked bases.  Prices are based on single or shared occupancy.

• Early bird or holiday promotions apply only to bookings made within the stated dates.

Cancellation by you.

• More than 60 days before the retreat: deposit refunded minus a €200 for administration.

• 60 to 30 days before: 50% of the retreat price is due.

• Fewer than 30 days before, or no-show: 100% of the retreat price is due.

• You may transfer your place to another person up to 14 days before the retreat, at no charge, if we agree in writing. Hosting providers' own fees for changing the name may apply.

• Travel and cancellation insurance is required for booking the retreat.

Cancellation or changes by us. If we cancel (for example, if fewer than 5 people book, or for reasons outside our control), you receive a full refund of what you paid, or a transfer to another retreat if you prefer. If a change to the programme, venue, or dates is significant, you may accept it or cancel for a full refund. We are not liable for flights or other costs you booked separately, so please book flexible travel and have insurance until your place is confirmed.

Health and suitability.

• Retreats are for adults.

• You must tell us about relevant health conditions, injuries, allergies, and dietary needs when you book, using the retreat health form. This information is handled under the Privacy Policy, with your explicit consent.

• Retreats offer yoga, mindfulness, and coaching. They are not medical treatment or therapy. You take part at your own pace and own responsibility.

Travel documents and local rules. You are responsible for a valid passport or ID, any visa, and following the laws and rules of the host country and venue.

Group conduct. We may ask a participant to leave if their behaviour harms the safety or experience of the group. No refund is due in that case.

Third-party providers. Accommodation, transport, and activities may be provided by independent third parties. We choose them with care, but their own terms may apply, and we are not responsible for their acts beyond what the law requires.

Photos and video. We take photos or video during the retreat only with your consent. You can say no at booking or at any time, and we will not use you in published material.

Unforeseeable events. Neither side is liable for failing to perform because of events beyond reasonable control (severe weather, strikes, travel restrictions, illness of the teacher). We will offer a rescheduled date, a credit, or a refund, as set out above.

7. Intellectual property, liability, privacy, and governing law

Content, recordings, and materials remain the property of Emily Gold. You may use them for personal use only. We are liable only as set out in Part 2, section 7, with the same legal limits. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. We may update these terms from time to time. Belgian law applies, with the courts of Brussels competent, without limiting your mandatory consumer rights.
